Final Bento of 2010 - Dec 22, 2010

I posted my first bento lunch picture on Jan 12, 2010. So this really has been a year-long theme. I've been doing this all year long, pretty much every workday, although I stopped posting every lunch after the first couple of months. After a while you start to repeat yourself, after all. I've started posting again during the last month to show off some new bento boxes I picked up in San Francisco.  This lunch features two of the $1.50 boxes I bought at Ichiban Kan.  The one on the left is a simple snap-lock box with a clear lid edged in pink. On the right is just the top tier from one of those generic lozenge-shaped boxes.  These two styles are incredibly good values, so I bought several of each in different colors. I really like the way the pink ones look together, so I kept those and gave away the other colors of both styles.

Pink Lunch (Dec 22, 2010) I didn't include it in the picture, but the snack box has a soft pink lid that matches the snaplock handles. And I carried them in a matching pink bag. So sweet. As for the lunch - I think it is leftover curried pork and rice, garnished with vegetables. The snack box is fresh fruit and a couple of Pepperidge Farm cookies.
