Rapture postponed

dreamsharkI guess even God makes the mistake of over planning and double scheduling Himself. Anyway, the Rapture Event originally scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday has been postponed indefinitely. No one knows the day or the hour of the rescheduled event.
However, the Minnstf meeting was still a great success. I always think Richard is putting out WAAAYYY too much food, especially as 3pm rolls around and practically nobody is here. But eventually dozens of people showed up and pretty much everything got consumed.
Unfortunately, our Lost and Found keeps growing, not shrinking. Not only did the RagStock bags and brand new pillow remain unclaimed, we seem to have acquired the entire contents of the Pool Party Lost and Found. *sigh* There's a couple of swimsuits, a doll, spiderman gloves, a couple of brand-new books in a bag, a puzzle in a plastic bag, another puzzle or game in a triangular box, and a few misc other items. If nobody claims this stuff it's going to the Salvation Army, along with the various items of winter clothing that have been left at our house and never claimed.

Date: 2011-05-22 10:18 pm (UTC)Glad you like Flash Forward. Robert Sawyer would talk about the show on Facebook now and again. He liked the production crew, and he visited the set. He enjoyed the royalty checks. You might also like The Event, a current show (though also canceled).

Date: 2011-05-23 06:42 pm (UTC)I know I'm kind of absent minded and sometimes leave things behind, but am not sure any of the things are mine. I've seen one swimsuit, and although it looked like it might be Benjamin's, on closer inspection I realized it was not his. Both of our swimsuits are here so the other suit can't be ours either. The spiderman gloves and doll are probably not ours since we've never owned spiderman gloves and my only two dolls I never take anywhere but keep on display at my house. Books or puzzles might be a possibility, but if you just acquired them on Saturday, then most likely not ours. Stuff from the pool party are not ours because I inspected the lot when we had a meeting at Beth's and nothing looked like it was from our home.
I also wanted to say that you guys always have such a lovely spread of lots of variety of yummy foods. (Not to say that other homes aren't as good.) I tend to indulge more because there's more there. :)
