vanaabegra (not this year, anyway). It's my brother, Dan! He's a master brewer who co-owns Buckbean Brewery, a micro brewery in Sparks, Nevada. They make a few varieties of lovingly crafted beer that beer connoisseurs swoon for. And they just got the order for a whole lot of their award-winning Black Noddy Lager for the Worldcon Consuite.
So if you're going to Worldcon, be sure to try the Black Noddy, and compliment the concom for their brilliant choice of beer. Then go home and start asking your local liquor store when they will be carrying Buckbean. Yay, Buckbean!

Date: 2011-07-26 02:23 am (UTC)Small correction, IIUC. The Black Noddy is for The Drawing of the Dark bar next to the fan lounge in the convention center. (Bar name is in honor of Renovation GOH Tim Powers.)
The Consuite is in the Atlantis Hotel, which is next to the convention center.
