This is all [livejournal.com profile] laurel's fault.

Okay, now I have to buy a little tripod for my iPhone.

This would be the absolute definition of a killer app if only Twitter sold tripods.

Here's a well-reviewed tripod:

Joby GripTight GorillaPod Stand

There are knock-offs and older versions that are cheaper, but it looks like this one will work with any generation iPhone/iPod.

I see on the Joby website they have other tripods in the same family: GripTight GorillaPod stand.

I can't trust that last one. It looks like it might appeal to people who take pictures of their muffin, and I don't want to be thought of as an every-meal photographer.

By an amazing coincidence, I actually found that same thing myself and ordered it (before I saw your comment). I was torn between the GripTight GorillaPod and the GripTight Microstand. If they'd offered a package with the GripTight and both tripods for $40 I would have bought it. But once I saw that each tripod cost only $10 when bundled with the GripTight I refused to pay $20 to buy one of them individually. Lost marketing opportunity, people!
