Once again, I am an April Fool

Got up on Tuesday and started auto-piloting my way through my workday breakfast routine. Opened the box of eggs in the fridge and found myself staring uncomprehendingly at....



The wheels turn slowly in the morning. I found myself wondering if I might have forgotten that it was actually Easter (no, can't be that. If it were Easter I'd be at Minicon) and finally remembered that it was April Fools Day. I laughed heartily and then commenced looking for the real eggs. Found them and proceeded to the frying pan. Lifted the cover and found...



Then I really laughed. Thanks, Thorin!

Yes, exactly. Thorin excels at this. His tricks are never mean or messy or even anything that would make you late for work. They always make me laugh.

One time he set up the stereo to endlessly repeat "Fool on the Hill" (and it took me quite a while to figure out why that song seemed to be running in my head. I'm not too alert before my morning coffee). Another time he replaced all the substantive content in the Sunday paper with sports sections (knowing that the first thing I do when I open up the paper is discard the sports section).
