Google knows it is my birthday. Of course they do. What don't they know about me? But changing the Google logo to say "Happy Birthday, Sharon!" when I bring up the Google page?  No. That is not warm and friendly; it's just creepy.

Years ago I decided to give out a fake date to any place that asked for my birthday when I didn't think they have a good reason for it: e.g., Yahoo, Google, Cost Plus, etc. I give the correct year, but not the date. Creepy indeed.

Well, let me be a non-corporate entity that wishes you a happy birthday. The day is almost over, I hope it was a good one. :)
