Obviously and unambiguously. I would think this whole thing was a joke if someone in MY VERY HOUSEHOLD didn't see it as blue and black.

Please, take pity on me. What is this thing that everyone is fussing about? I see references all over my Twitter feed, and there was an XKCD, and I have no fucking clue what this is about.

There's this dress...Some people see it as blue and black while the rest see it as white and gold.

I see the the white and gold; MyJeff sees the blue and black.

The co-worker who first showed it to me on her cell, sees the the b&b. It's a mighty odd thing.

Though this is my favorite follow-up piece so far.

I see it as white & gold, Kevin insists it's blue & black. Though at one point I did see it as blue & black after I looked at some other stuff, then it was back to white & gold. Maddening.

I came to it late (in internet time), which made it easy to read various pieces about it. And Kevin was asleep. At first I thought maybe it was some sort of freaky scam or something, but then the stupid dress changed on me after I looked at a different picture of it. I double-checked it was the same GIF and everything. What had been white & gold was later blue & black! Then still later it was white & gold for me.

When Kevin got up, I tried explaining the whole saga to him which led to hilarity. "Is it an animated GIF?" "No!" And then he looked at it and insisted it was blue & black and that he wasn't putting me on. And so it went. So freaking weird.

And at first when I was reading about this stuff, I didn't get what the big deal was. Until it changed color on me, then I was obsessed and freaked out like everyone else.

The first I saw of it was this article, and I have trouble seeing it as white and gold, but it has happened.

My daughter didn't see the article first, just the picture, and thought it was a gif.

Martin showed it me. What I saw on my monitor was very light blue and dark yellow brown. I couldn't tell if it was white and gold in a blue shadow or black and gold in a really bright light.

Which just goes to show that for every way that you can divide all of humanity into 2 types, there's always a third one.

The one photo I looked at seemed to be periwinkle and ecru, but I don't have the patience to go staring at it. I was spoiled, one might say, by the revelation that actually the dress is blue and black, end of discussion.
