Walking along Lake Harriet at dusk the other day I saw a couple approaching with high-tech stroller. A strange blue glow was emanating from the stroller, but it was impossible to determined from the frontal view what was causing it. I glanced back as we passed, still trying to figure it out. It was... a tv screen! I know you can get vans equipped with built-in VCRs, but a stroller???

Okay. Color me croggled.

Wow. One more item for the "things I never imagined" list. If it catches on, you just know they're going to be computers next. Right?

On the VCRs in vans front, just last night a group of 6 who had never dined together before were swapping stories of childhood road trips, and how many of us had played license plate bingo.

Was there a kid in the stoller too?

Somehow, this doesn't surprise me. Kids raised on the electronic babysitter now have kids of their own. Might as well pass the time pushing the kid around AND keep up with reality tv.

To me that's grounds for a suit to take the kid away. TV sucks 99% of the time and IMO... I'm not going to finish, my BP is way up

Too bad for the kid...and I would never have imagined that a small baby needed a TV.

I think it was more of a toddler than a little baby, but still...

Even a toddler - I thought the reason for taking a walk was to enjoy nature - not TV watching. . .oh well.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was deleterious in some way at stroller-age.
