Dave's apartment - update

 Thanks to the intrepid helpers who made it through the snow to help clean out Dave's apartment on Sunday.  My apologies to people who couldn't figure out my confusing communications as the blizzard roared in. I cancelled Saturday and told a few people that Sunday was cancelled before I realized that one volunteer was busing in from St. Louis Park with no cell phone, so I had to be there to meet him. It took a long time to get my car out of the snow, so I did not make it there until 1pm. 

 

Nonetheless, a few volunteers persevered and much was accomplished. Many books, CDs, and household items were taken and progress was made on boxing up donation items. More of the same still needs to be done. Closing for sale of the Condo is May 2.

 

I plan to be at Dave's apartment on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (April 17, 19, 21) weather permitting. 

 

 If you are interested in CDs, come on Tuesday - after that they should all be gone. There are still lots of books, including some very nice art books and some very odd reference books. I need help packing up and transporting donation items like books, clothes, household items, food. Don't need any more large boxes, but could probably use more small to medium. Anything that would be too heavy to lift when filled with books or canned goods is too big to be useful. 

 

Please do not just show up at Dave's without contacting me first. My intention is to get there at about 1pm on each of the days I mentioned, but as the weekend weather proved, good intentions do not always prevail. Please call or text my cell phone before heading out. Email only counts if you get a response. I have my phone with me pretty much all the time, but  rarely check email on my phone.
