Hulu - recommendations?
Oct. 1st, 2018 04:10 pm I signed up (temporarily) for Hulu because I simply can't wait another year for Season 3 of The Good Place and don't have cable. I thought I'd find a few other things to watch, but so far haven't found anything except maybe the occasional episode of The Simpsons. Really? Is this all there is?I'm trying to add a few things to my Watchlist (idiotically renamed as "My Stuff" because I guess Watchlist is too big a word?) before I go upstairs and try to induce my Playstation to talk to Hulu again.
I thought they carried "Riverdale," but apparently that's only on their exorbitantly expensive sister channel called something like "Live TV."
Last time I tried Hulu they had the Tonight Show and maybe the Daily Show, but I don't see either of those.
I added "Who Do You Think You Are?" because somebody recently mentioned it to me as kind of fun to watch. Added "Minding the Gap" because I heard it recommended on a podcast I listen to. And "Drunk History" because I once saw an episode of that with Lin Manual Miranda that was a hoot.
Any other recommendations?

Date: 2018-10-05 04:52 am (UTC)The real problem with Hulu is that it only gives you the 5 most recent episodes of most shows, so it's useless for trying out new multi-season shows with a story arc unless you just happen upon them during their first season. There are some movies, although not a huge number. I scrolled through them all, and did find one that I had been wanting to see in the theater but missed: "I, Tonya." I haven't watched it yet, but it's on my Watchlist.
