Not those leftovers, trust me. We actually have two fridges in the lunchroom, and one of them had gotten so stinky that just opening the door tended to clear the room. It continued to be amazingly full of apparent lunches, too. Which was sort of disturbing, considering the fridge smelled so bad it was hard to imagine very many people were actively using it. Phew.
Sometimes I forget that fandom is not all one culture... full quote from the George Carlin routine:

People who get paid to clean, and still weren't doing it. Apparently, in the distant past before I started here, it was the cleaning crew's job to clean out the fridge every Friday, or every other Friday, or something. But they gradually stopped doing it, and nobody was sure whose job it was to ask them to start again. I finally mentioned it to the receptionist, who apparently did know who to talk to.
