My daughter Amber is pregnant with twins, due around Christmas time. She and her husband are thrilled over the pregnancy, but still somewhat in shock over the twins part - not what they were hoping to hear. Lena (currently age 4) has been demanding a baby sibling for at least a year now, so of course she is delighted. "We're going to have a BABY!" she crowed excitedly. "We're going to have TWO BABIES!!!"  Although a sister and a brother would be acceptable, she's clearly hoping for two sisters. She announced on our Skype session yesterday that the first one that came out would be named "Lena 2" and the other one would be "Lena 3"  (not like it's all about her or anything)

So I imagine that pretty well guarantees that she'll be getting two brothers, the universe working in the aggravating way it typically does.

Oh my goodness! My condolences and felicitations, as appropriate.

Lena cracks me up.

Mazel tov! Delightful, if a bit overwhelming.

Great news! Especially for Lena. Congrats to all.

(I'll have you know that I requested further siblings, but my parents never came through.)

Best News Ever.

I've been admiring the various configurations of twin strollers for a while now. There are such clever choices.
