I seem to recall there being free, easy-to-use utilities to make your own gifs.

I was hoping that someone might recommend one. Or even better, that somebody who is better than I am with "free easy-to-use utilities" would offer to do it for me.

I haven't used them myself. I could poke at it; what exactly do you want to do? Turn that whole video clip into a gif, just a few seconds of it?

I don't know. Whatever. This is why I didn't try to do it myself - I have no idea what is easy and what is hard, and how to even use a GIF once I had it. It just seemed like laughing babies would make a nice GIF.

Oh my gosh, that is about two hundred times cuter than I expected, and I fully expected cuteness. It looks like they (at different times from one another) got briefly tired of the game, regrouped, and thought it was fun again. Also, Amber may be getting the responses with eye contact, but it appeared that they know perfectly well what their names are.

I thought so too (babies responding to their names). I looked it up, and lo and behold, babies typically start recognizing their names at 5-7 months. The boys are 6 months old. You are very observant.
