Yes; very handsome eggplants! Is that purple broccoli?

So instead of purple people eaters, you are purple eating people!

My trip on Saturday to the Richfield farmer's market netted me a couple of ears of corn (eaten) and a bunch of kale (made into chips). I was hoping for some new options, but it was pretty much the same thing I'd seen the last couple of weeks.

Oh, and today I sauteed the bunch of garlic scapes that I'd bought last week. Tasty, but I need to do a better job of trimming off they woody bits.

The purple cauliflower looks amazing.

Actually, it all looks delicious. What do you have planned?

When I was a child, one of my aunt's would make "special" sandwiches for kid's birthdays. They were just white bread with cream cheese filling but what made them special was she would use food colouring on the cream cheese so you could eat pink, green and blue cheese sandwiches.

Could something similar be used for your cheese sauce to create a sauce the didn't have a colour clash with the cauliflower?
