It occurs to me that the uptown part of the Fringe is close to my house, easily accessible by bike, and would get me out of the house during the Friday game party. If I leave work on time, I may try to hit some of the evening shows at Bryant-Lake and/or Intermedia Arts. I seem to remember somebody on LJ mentioning that they were going to Hanging of Pollyana, but I don't remember who, or which night. I'm particularly interested in Industrials, at 10p, also at Intermedia Arts. I might go to Hamlet (8:00) or Pollyana (8:30) if I get going in time. Anybody else going Uptown tonight?

We went to The Hanging of Pollyana on Wednesday night. We enjoyed it, although there may be some bias involved - Tom Cassidy is [livejournal.com profile] laurafish's uncle.

I don't think we have any plans involving the Fringe in Uptown venues tonight, but you never know...

I tried, but the show I was aiming for (Industrials) was totally sold out. It was fun just walking through the Lyn-Lake area, though. It's been a long time since I've been up there on a weekend evening - it's really hopping! Lots of outdoor tables, music, laughing and talking.

Today I'm sort of interested in:
Staggering Toward America - 4p Bryant
Emily Dickinson 5:30 Old Arizona
Critters 8:30 IMA
Industrials 10 IMA

I'm sorry I missed your call on Friday; I didn't get it until Saturday morning. I'll plan on bringing that disk next Friday - if you'll be around(?)
