Found the best Paul Bunyan

Forget your Bemidji, Brainerd, and Bangor versions. This is the best Paul. He could have been the tallest if he had stood up like all the others, but he chose to kneel and hold out a welcoming hand for photo ops with his fans. So here's a big shout out to plucky little Akeley, Minnesota!

We would never have met the Akeley Paul if it hadn't been for an unexpected bridge closure on our original route. So here's to road work serendipity!  Or, as Bokonon says, “Peculiar travel suggestions are dancing lessons from God.”

What a kind and generous assumption! I would have looked at his eyes and thought he couldn't stand up because he was high or concussed.

I thought his China blue eyes looked very sweet and Minnesotan. And, okay, maybe a little bit dim witted.
