My little grandsons (now approaching 2 years of age) sleep in side-by-side Pack-n-Plays (a portable crib/playpen). Occasionally their mother wonders why Leo (aka Leo the Climber) hasn't figured out how to escape from this thing yet, but why mess with success? For some reason he doesn't seem to be able to climb out of this simple device.

Then this morning she went in to get the boys up and found the two of them playing happily together in Harris's crib. Yep, it turns out Leo is perfectly capable of climbing over the side of the crib, and had in fact DONE IT TWICE - climbing out of his bed and into Harris's.

Some years ago there was a cougar in a zoo in, I think, Philadelphia who lived in one of those big outdoor pens surrounded by a deep pit and a huge fence. He'd been living there for years. One day the zookeeper came to work a little early and found the cougar strolling around the grounds. Apparently for years he had been hopping out of his cage for an early morning walk and then jumping back in to have breakfast. This appears to be sort of the same thing.

So Cute!

Does Leo have a lot of other traits in common with a cougar?
