Well, it was nice while it lasted
Sep. 20th, 2021 11:05 pm Once Leo knew that he could climb out of his crib, it didn't take him long to move beyond joining his brother in the adjoining crib. He started climbing out and getting into things, and a couple of mornings ago, Amber found him on top of Lena's otherwise unoccupied bunkbed. So the parents replaced the Pack-n-Play with the full-sized crib, and he promptly climbed out of that too. Now they're ordering something called a "crib tent," which is apparently a toddler imprisonment device.
The reason this is all such a problem right now is because they are in the middle of a big construction project which is gradually making more and more of the existing house uninhabitable, so there is no longer a baby-proofed room to put the cribs in. If they can just keep the boys from destroying the place for a couple more months the house will bounce back to its former size and then get 50% bigger than it was before, and all will be well.
