So...I went to Trader Joe's today

I admit it, I am an unapologetic fan of all things pumpkin spice. The pumpkin spice pumpkin seeds are especially delicious. So is the hummus, in a "licking the spoon while making pumpkin pie" kind of way. Unlike a lot of pumpkin spice products, those two contain actual pumpkin materials.

I like some pumpkin spice flavored things, as long as there isn't a really bad chemical aftertaste. Some goods have that, and I stay away from them. On the other hand, I will never, ever say "no" to a slice of pumpkin pie. Or more than one slice, actually.

This year, I didn't go as overboard as last year, but I did buy the pumpkin spice pumpkin seeds and a box of pumpkin-flavored Jo-Jo cookies. I also bought a bag of kettle corn made with maple sugar, and I like that so well I tried to buy another bag at a subsequent visit, but it was all sold out.

We're getting a little mini-cold snap (it will be over by tomorrow so will get hot again) so tonight I was all about: "Wish I had time to light some fall candles/make hot chocolate/cook up some pumpkin pie", etc.

Of course such weather probably won't happen here again until at least November, maybe, but at least it was a nice fall day or two.

Next time I go to Trader Joe's I'll look for the aisle that's glowing orange and yellow.
