I mean, sure it's a heavy snowfall, but hardly Storm of the Century material. In Minneapolis, anyway. It's probably worse out in the prairie part of the state where the wind can build up some momentum. It looks like a 2 day total of about 10 inches?

I think that is less than the lower bound the Weather Service was quoting yes. But it is still pretty.

I am glad to be under the worst case predictions. I got a day off, I did all the shoveling and snow blowing, and now I'm going to make some stuff.

This was a near perfect amount. Not so much that it was impossible to clear, and not so little that work will feel unjustified in closing for the day.

Richard believes there was at least 13" but I was out there cleaning snow off the vehicles and I don't think there was anywhere near that much snow on top of the van. It's hard to measure when the snow is so light. All I know for sure is that Moving the Vehicles was way easier than it was after the last big snowfall, which took hours.
