Hello Goodbye

Grandkids (and their parents) were here and now they are gone. It all goes by so fast.

The first thing the kids do when they get here is rush up to the attic, which has not only a beautifully refinished floor of vintage Douglas fir, but other amenities like this swing and big exercise ball.

They keep growing! The boys are particularly notable; probably more changes from whatever age I last saw photos of them to this, than happened with Lena. Though she keeps looking more grown-up. It's all very alarming, but I'm sure just as it should be.

Yeah, the boys are 3-1/2 now, which is much more grownup than two. They aren't really all that much bigger than a year ago, just shaped more like little boys and less like babies.
