Lake and Bryant Cafe

09:08 AM It is already 83° with a dew point of 72° so I wasn’t planning to bike today. But our power went out at 8am😱 so I decided Biking2Breakfast was the lesser of two evils. It actually wasn’t that bad given the biking breeze. Their AC is working just fine and they have iced coffee. 😊

It was back in an hour; exactly as predicted by Xcel's text notification. And they sent me another text when it came back on (I was still at the cafe, so that was very helpful). I was impressed how on top of it they were.

Well, the breakfast looks awesome!

I awoke to exactly one clock blinking a time about a minute earlier than the time shown by other devices. It's weird, because even a very evanescent power glitch usually makes the air cleaners, apparently prone to anxiety, shut down, but they were whooshing away.

I'm glad to see the outage wasn't long.

I think that restaurant was at Lyndale and Lake, on the northeast corner. This is Lake and Bryant. It is a nice ceiling, though.
