WTF?

Two shopping bags full of food just appeared on our doorstep with no note or explanation. One is a very large shopping bag filled with carefully labeled Glad storage containers, each containing what looks like a homemade meal for 2 or 3 people. The other, smaller bag looks like it was prepared by someone different. It contains large ziplock bags full of homemade party snacks. 

I assume that this generous gift was intended for someone else... but who? What should we do with it? Does anyone know a family in hiding from ICE that could use it?

Naomi Kritzer had a recent blog post about what Twin Cities people can do to help, and she mentions a couple places that are putting together grocery deliveries. Possibly one of those was misdelivered to you? Here's a link to the post, which lists a couple of places that might want your bags if you don't find anyone to donate it to directly.

I notified my block club email list and put the bags back outside. The next time we looked, they were gone. So either someone on the block knew who left them, or the people who left them realized the mistake spontaneously. Anyway, I hope that nice gift is now where it was supposed to go.
