*sob*
I finally finished the last season of Six Feet Under. It's over. There will be no more. The characters are no longer living their lives, evolving, solving (or not solving) their problems. They've gone back into the gray nothingness of non-existence that comes with being fictional creations.

Date: 2006-07-31 05:16 pm (UTC)You must be almost at the end. The last few eps are pretty grueling emotionally. By the time you get to the final episode you're afraid to watch it, expecting some sort of mass suicide. But it's not that bad - the family members finally start to pull themselves together and the whole thing actually wraps up satisfactorily. Be sure to watch all the special features on the final disk, as the actors and producers say goodbye with tears streaming down their cheeks, and funeral directors from around the country testify to how much they'll miss the show. It's emotionally cathartic, kind of like attending a wake.
