Today's Fringe Tips

dreamshark(1) This weekend, Fringe overlaps the three big outdoor art fairs (Uptown, Loring, Powderhorn). Yikes! On the one hand, what a traffic NIGHTMARE. On the other hand, there are free shuttle buses plowing through the crowds to take you from fair to fair. I'm thinking that with good planning this could be useful for Fringers.
Shuttle bus stops (according to yesterday's Strib):
(2) Minnstf members: note that the Lake Harriet Methodist Church venue (49th and Chowen) is walking distance from today's Minnstf meeting at Dean and Laura's. I strongly recommend Mary Hirsch's solo show, "I Wake Up Beautiful (and Other Fantasies)" at 7pm
Note: that was a typo for Uptown, but I think I'll leave it.

- Uptoon: Walker Library (Lagoon)
- Powderhorn: 15th Ave and 34th st
- Miscellaneous: Lake Street LRT station (south side of Lake)
