Is there some way to bookmark one's own LJ entries to make them easy to find again? I thought there was such a feature, but I can't figure out how to do it. Anybody know this one? Thanks.

never mind, I figured it out. The secret was figuring out that the feature was called "Memories" and then searching the LJ FAQs for that word.

If I were designing this website site, I would have put a link on the "show memories" page to the FAQ entry that explains where "memories" come from.

There is also an easier version now, and it can be used in conjuction with "memories".

By adding "tags" to the entries, you can call up a page with all entries using that tag.

F'rinstance, by going to http://mle292.livejournal.com/tag/library
you will find various posts that I have made about things I've found at the library.

More information is at http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=226

Oh, how irritating!

I thought I was USING tags when I typed words into the "tags" field as I "created memories." But I followed your link and discovered that there is a whole different feature called "tags" and none of the "tags" I used while creating memories appear on this list.

So... are these just two completely different usages for the same word? What didyou mean when you said that tags "can be used in conjunction with memories?"
