dreamsharkI just found an entire BOX of lightweight earphones, the kind that used to come with your Sony Walkman. Richard won't use the iPod because he doesn't like the little earbuds, so this was actual a useful discovery. I brushed off the dust, and tried each set of old earphones with my iPod. Two of the 6 headsets actually worked! So, for once, it seems to have been useful to save a pile of useless old gadgetry. Score one for the packrats.
Of course, some guys woulda thrown out the ones that didn't work before putting the box away in whatever "safe place" it has been moldering in for untold years. But that's probably analyzing a little too deeply. The question is: throw it away when you haven't used it for [your threshold here] years or save it?
