DFL City Convention - good news, bad news

Bad news
- Spent 7 hours sitting in a high school gym and still couldn't manage two endorsements for at-large school board positions
- There were 7 good candidates for at-large school board slots (which is probably why we had so much trouble picking just two).
- It was raining all morning any way, and unpleasantly humid after that, so it wasn't like I was missing a great weekend.

Earnest though the delegates may be, most of us don't know much more about the candidates than you do. To be honest, I agreed to be a delegate this year largely so I could vote AGAINST Stewart, but then he decided not to run again. Oh well.
