I think it has something to do with home brewing, so I thought maybe the home brewers reading this might be interested. Or you could use it as a very large vase. Fill it with marbles. Save pennies in it.

Big Bottle - about 2 feet tall. It was in the attic of the garage.

Also, I called your house and there was no answer, and then I went to dinner and drove by your house on the way home, but there was no bright yellow car outside. So, I'll have to come by this week. I'm not sure which noxious corner might turn my head then. Oh, I know! Let's ask Morgan's Tarot!

LOL. Morgan's Tarot is never wrong. I knew their cards were online, but had no idea they had a "pick one" button! How very useful! When I tried it I got this one. Which suggests that it really is about garage work after all.

Good luck. It might be the photo; but it might just be that a glass jar that big is inherently cool.

Could be used for fermentation, at least secondary, in brewing I think. I've always wondered how people decided what weight of coins was safe to transport (lift) in a glass container, at least one that big.

Yep - looks like a carboy - it would make an excellent secondary fermenter.

The question in my family growing up was, "How do you decide when it is full of pennies?" When level with the lip of the bottle neck? When mounded over? When you can no longer balance even one more coin on the top? It's not as obvious as you might expect.

Looks like a five gallon carboy, good for secondary brewing or winemaking.
