T-shirt Mask
Apr. 5th, 2020 03:03 pmAfter a little experimenting, I would recommend the no-sew t-shirt mask to anybody who really feels like they need to wear a mask around town. It's not only the easiest and cheapest homemade mask, it is by far the most comfortable. I did actually do a little sewing on this one to make two layers. But the basic one-layer design doesn't require anything but a pair of scissors and an old t-shirt.

The trick is how you put it on. You place the top over your nose and tie it at the nape of the neck. Then pull the bottom of the mask over your chin and tie the straps on top of your head. It's hard to see in this picture with all my bushy hair in the way. Check out one of the many online tutorials for a better view.

So, with the years, I have a more realistic expectation of the contents of your house, and will gladly bring you some pipe cleaners. I trust that you have a wire cutter to shorten them.
