Jab #2 is in the bin
Apr. 2nd, 2021 06:14 pmThis is me, getting my second dose of Moderna vaccine. No, wait, it's actually Richard on the Glacial Potholes Trail at Interstate State Park, which is on the way to the Health Partners clinic in Wisconsin where my shot was scheduled. It was a beautiful day and we had fun. This was the second time in umpteen months that we have taken a road trip longer than a trip to Costco. The first time was shot #1.
This time I got the shot in my right arm, since I prefer to sleep on my left side and I'd heard that side effects were much worse the second time round. But in actuality, my arm was only a little more sore than the first shot. It hurt enough when I got up this morning that I was thinking of putting a cold pack on it, but by the time I got around to that it didn't seem necessary. No other side effects. My legs are a little achy, but so are Richard's. That's from climbing up and down all those irregular stone stairs on the Potholes Trail.

Date: 2021-04-03 12:37 am (UTC)I like that park a lot. My mom and brother and I once took a boat cruise that started there and went along the St. Croix for a while and back again. It's great in the fall.
