A Week in the Life of Dreamshark, Volume 7

I slipped in a couple of extra shots for the final day of the photo blog. Richard and I had a great bike trip in Wisconsin, and there were just too many good pictures. Well, okay, I admit it: I just have this thing for bridge pictures.

The weather was fantastic and the trail was surprisingly varied and attractive for such an easy ride. We saw lots of wildlife: not only the Sandhill cranes (pictured), but dozens of adorably confused baby bunnies and at least as many lounging, half-naked college students performing various rituals with giant inner tubes. We were disappointed to discover that it IS in fact possible to find a town in Wisconsin so small that it doesn't have a tavern! However, that doesn't mean you can't buy alcohol. With hindsight, I wish I'd taken a picture of the astonishing wall of hard liquor behind the counter of the tiny local grocery/convenience store. Fortunately, Richard had packed us a nice little lunch, which we washed down with cold beer and hard lemonade from the local "grocery."

I explain the photo project here.

A Week in the Life of Dreamshark, Volume 6

This seemed like a lot of fun at the beginning, but now it's getting kinda old. Hey, six pictures is a LOT.

So I only did four today. So sue me.

What's this all about? I explained the project here.

A Week in the Life of Dreamshark, Volume 5

I explained the project here.

Day 5 of the photo blog project. Ennui sets in, and I begin photographing myself. I am saved from straying further down this path by a bike ride around the lake, which always turns up something interesting.

Morris dancers invade the Rose Garden. Sunset comes to Lake Harriet. Big fun!

A Week in the Life of Dreamshark, Volume 3

I started out all enthusiastic for documenting my day, and then sort of lost interest after the first chapter. After I met with my brokers I went to work, had a long and rather frustrating conference call, got a little bit of testing done but not enough, left at 4pm for skating class in Bloomington, and then came back to work and worked until 10pm, finally making some progress. I should have taken a picture at the ice rink.

I explained the project here.

A Week in the Life of Dreamshark, Volume 2

First day of photo-blog turns out to be pretty mundane. Food plays a big part in the images. I must have been hungry.

I explained the project here.
